About Candelilla
Candelilla is a reservation-only Mexican restaurant and research-led gastronomic laboratory in a sixteenth-century house on Tacuba. Chef and historian Héctor Gil develops tasting menus based on documented Mexican culinary techniques and recipes from pre-Hispanic, viceregal, and nineteenth-century periods. The operator says each seasonal menu is original and serves between three and seven courses.
