It is one of the emirate's major leisure attractions alongside other Yas Island entertainment destinations. The park occupies a substantial footprint on the island's developed entertainment corridor. It was developed as part of the broader Yas Island tourism and entertainment strategy. The facility operates as a seasonal outdoor water park with multiple slides, pools, and aquatic attractions designed for various age groups and thrill levels. Its Emirati pearl-diving narrative distinguishes the park from a generic slide complex, carrying the story through names, architecture and the central lost-pearl theme.

Yas Waterworld combines more than 60 water rides, slides and attractions with children’s play areas and high-thrill experiences. Visitor services include changing facilities, lockers, wheelchair and stroller rental, a mother’s lounge, prayer rooms and cashless waterproof wristbands. The park provides step-free circulation, although entry to individual slides depends on transfer ability, mobility, height and the safety rules stated in its accessibility guide. The attraction mix ranges from shallow children’s zones to high-thrill slides, allowing mixed-age groups to divide by intensity and regroup around shared pools and services.

Allow a full day to use a broad selection of slides and family attractions without rushing. Opening on 31 August 2026 is 10:00 to 19:00, providing nine hours inside the park. Queue length, changing time, meals and repeated rides affect the total. Families should review height limits before splitting up, because younger children cannot use every attraction even when they hold admission. Yas Waterworld opens from 10:00 to 19:00 on 31 August 2026. The operator uses a date-specific calendar and selected dates have extended or event hours. Arrive near opening for the shortest initial queues and cooler movement between rides. Ladies-only events and private programmes can change the ordinary access conditions, while school holidays and weekends draw the largest family crowds. The fixed online one-day ticket costs AED 295. Same-day counter prices are AED 305 in low season, AED 315 in medium season and AED 325 on peak days. Free Abu Dhabi Shuttle Route D stops at the shared Warner Bros. World and Yas Waterworld stop, and Yas Express connects the major Yas Island attractions. Ticket-holder shuttles also operate from Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Ajman. Complimentary guest parking is provided. During the summer parking relocation, buggies connect the temporary car park with the entrance at peak times. The shared Warner Bros. World stop is the correct shuttle landmark; directional signs and peak-time buggies cover the final movement from the temporary summer parking area.

Appropriate swimwear is mandatory: street clothes, jeans, underwear, long flowing garments, exposed metal and revealing swimwear are prohibited on water attractions. Bags are screened and outside food and beverages are not allowed. Each ride applies its own height, mobility, transfer and safety rules. Step-free circulation and wheelchair service do not guarantee access to every slide, and wet surfaces require careful footwear. Personal photography is suitable in general guest areas when it respects privacy and does not block pool decks or ride exits.
