Pasşabağ Vadisi, also known as the Zelve–Paşabağları archaeological site, is a Cappadocian valley shaped by pale volcanic rock and groups of tall fairy chimneys. Several formations have multiple heads, creating the unusual silhouette associated with Paşabağ. The site combines geology with human history: people carved chapels, retreat spaces and other rooms into the soft rock. Walking here is therefore both a landscape experience and an archaeological visit, with broad formations and intimate carved spaces appearing within the same route. Getting there

Paşabağları is on the right side of the Göreme–Avanos road, about one kilometre from the main road. The listed address is Çavuşin Village, Avanos, Nevşehir. Drivers should use the turn-off from the Göreme–Avanos route and continue along the shorter local approach. Cyclists should allow for reported asphalt-road and cycle-path works between Paşabağı Junction and Paşabağları. The site is a convenient stop along the corridor, but the main road does not lead directly to the entrance; follow the signed local approach.
