Čukarica
Čukarica is a municipality in Belgrade's southwestern reaches, named after a 19th-century kafana that stood where roads from Obrenovac and Šumadija converged at the city's entrance. The district contains the Museum of Sport and Olympism, the Žarkovo Local Museum, and several Orthodox churches including the Church of Saint George. Parks and forests such as Košutnjak and the Arboretum of the Forestry Faculty provide green space within the urban area.
