The nearest taxi rank is at the Brisbane Coach Terminal, while drop-off or collection is available on Parkland Boulevard. What to watch out for

Do not treat the whole site as uniformly flat or uniformly step-free: accessible routes exist, but the lower parkland has the most accessible gradients and the hillside setting can make some movement more demanding. Accessible bathrooms are located at the Amphitheatre, beside the Lakeside BBQs and in the Carriage Shed near The Garden Room café. Dogs must remain on a lead and under effective control, and they cannot enter the Spectacle Garden, except that assistance animals are not subject to that restriction. The northern Roma Street footpath is closed until late October 2026, with a detour via the southern footpath.
