İnkaya Cave is a dry cave west of Yelki village, on the eastern side of Kocadağ in Güzelbahçe, İzmir. Its documented underground length is 222 metres, and the deepest point is 30 metres below the entrance. The route is generally horizontal but includes partly vertical sections, giving the cave a more demanding character than a conventional visitor attraction. Pottery found inside indicates historical accommodation use. That combination of dry chambers, vertical passages and archaeological evidence makes İnkaya a site for prepared caving, not casual sightseeing. Its identity comes from the meeting of natural terrain, underground geometry and traces of earlier human use.

İnkaya Cave lies west of Yelki village, on Kocadağ’s eastern side in Güzelbahçe, İzmir. ESHOT routes 975, 985 and 987 serve the Yelki stop, but public transport does not continue to a cave entrance. From Yelki, a land cruiser or tractor can reach the vicinity; the approach then continues on foot for about 20 minutes through steep maquis terrain. Arrange suitable transport, a guide and the required equipment before setting out. The final walk is a demanding part of the route, not a paved attraction approach. Yelki is therefore the practical starting point, not the location of a staffed cave entrance.
