Copenhagen Botanical Garden is the living plant collection of the Natural History Museum Denmark in the centre of Copenhagen. The operator describes the garden as both a public green retreat and a living museum whose main tasks are research, education and nature conservation. Its collections support work on plant and fungal diversity in Denmark and internationally. The outdoor Botanical Garden opens from 08:30 to 18:00 between 1 March and 24 October, and from 08:30 to 16:00 between 25 October and 28 February. The Palm House follows shorter ticketed hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 in summer and 10:00 to 15:30 in winter, with selected Monday openings. Both have specified holiday closures. Parts of the Palm House are currently limited by renovation, so check the operator's current notice and book a time slot before relying on greenhouse access.

Worauf Sie achten sollten

Stay off flower beds, do not climb trees and do not collect flowers, seeds or other plant material. Dogs and other pets are prohibited except guide dogs; bicycles, scooters, smoking, grills and open flames are also prohibited. The listed Palm House has narrow passages and delicate collections, so strollers, prams, suitcases and large bags are not allowed inside. Renovation currently restricts parts of the Palm House. Respect closed areas and scientific collections, and do not assume that every greenhouse or historic structure shown on the map is open to visitors.

Private photography is allowed in the Botanical Garden and greenhouses. The operator prohibits wedding photography inside the greenhouses and requires private photographers outdoors to avoid large professional equipment, including tripods, multiple cameras and light reflectors. Visitors must respect other guests, keep paths clear and not use drones. Private wedding photography is allowed in the outdoor garden under those conditions.
