Myonnesus is a small rocky archaeological island off the Doğanbey coast in Seferihisar, İzmir. It is also called Çıfıt Adası, Çiftekale Adası and Çıfıtkalesi. This is a low offshore rock rather than a conventional museum or enclosed attraction. Scattered wall and building remains occupy the island, while fragments of an old harbour quay can be seen in or beside the water on the southern side. Its appeal comes from combining modest archaeological remains with a distinctly coastal setting linked to the wider Teos landscape. It is also known as Çıfıt Adası, Çiftekale Adası and Çıfıtkalesi. Unlike a conventional museum, this place is experienced as a low offshore island where scattered wall and building remains occupy the rock. Pieces of an old harbour quay are visible in or beside the water on the southern side. From İzmir, travel through Seferihisar towards Doğanbey and the Payamlı coast. After the Doğanbey junction, continue along the coastal road to the mainland point opposite Myonnesus. The island is approximately 100 metres offshore. The final approach requires either wading through shallow water or arranging a crossing by sea motor or small boat. ESHOT connections in the Seferihisar–Doğanbey direction bring you closer to the coast, but the last section still requires walking or a boat arrangement.
