Big Ben is the popular name for the Great Bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London. The name is frequently extended to refer also to the clock and the clock tower. The Elizabeth Tower, as it was renamed in 2012, is one of London's most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site component.
