Kayaköy is a preserved archaeological settlement on a hillside about 8 km south of Fethiye, where the remains of Levissi meet the older place-name Karmylassos. Its character comes from the relationship between the terrain and the surviving stone town: roofless houses climb the slope, religious buildings punctuate the lanes, and the abandoned fabric remains legible as a community rather than a collection of isolated ruins. The site reflects the departure of its former Greek residents for Greece during the population exchange after the Turkish War of Independence. Visitors therefore encounter both architecture and a landscape marked by social upheaval.

The route serves Fethiye Mahalle Garajı, Yeni Camii, Kayaköy Yolu and Kayaköy Merkez. Kayaköy is about 8 km south of Fethiye.
