The Museum of Applied Art on Vuka Karadžića street holds over 37,000 objects spanning 2,400 years of applied art, founded on 6 November 1950. Its oldest pieces are Ancient Greek coins from the fourth century BC.

In its first years the museum bought a collection of more than 3,000 artefacts from the artist Ljuba Ivanović, which formed the core of what has grown into seven curatorial departments backed by five further specialist units — central documentation, conservation, education, communication and the museum's own library. Its holdings include the Belgrade Armorial II, one of a handful of surviving South Slavic heraldic manuscripts, alongside collections of decorative metalwork, furniture, textiles and photography built up over more than seven decades.

An individual adult ticket is 400 RSD (about 3.4 EUR, August 2026); a ticket for the permanent Museum of Applied Art exhibition alone is 300 RSD (about 2.6 EUR). Students and seniors pay a concession rate of 200 RSD (about 1.7 EUR). Group visits of five or more adults pay 200 RSD per person, and school and student groups 100 RSD per person (about 0.85 EUR). Members of ULUPUDS, ULUS and ICOM, and art-history and architecture students from Serbian institutions, enter free.
